So the two images above are the sculpted elements that will comprise a small line of jewelry
featuring real one or two thousand year old coins. Really beautiful pieces of history that
deserve to be on display.
Below you will see the wax copies which will be submitted for metal casting.
Surprise surprise! If you had been following my previous posts you know I was going to be doing
a piece featuring this architect shell! well here is finished sculpt! (above) and the wax copy (below).
My prompt for designing this creepy little critter was a simple one:
Who might live in such a shell as this?
And as you can see, I have a strange imagination, I'm calling guy a "fossilized sea soul"
The plan is to make it into a big trippy pendant, probably going to try casting this one in copper.
And these little kitty bits (below) is my newest project! Stay tuned to see what she turns into!
